You're A True Friend

So my personal challenge for August is to actually SEND the cards that I make! This one is going to a friend of mine that just started teaching again this month after being an administrator of sorts for the last five years, helping other teachers teach better!

My images are from two of my Sweet 'n Sassy sets: Parisian Postcard (Eiffel Tower) and Poppies & Greetings (sentiment).

I used reinkers to watercolor a two-color background for my Eiffel Tower, which was stamped with Encore Gold, and then embossed with Gold Detail EP. A few embellishments and some matching designer paper, and my shabby chic card is done!

Thanks for looking and stopping by today! I would love to hear what you think.

Stamps: Parisian Postcard and Poppies & Greetings (Sweet n' Sassy Stamps)
Paper: watercolor, Not Quite Navy, Unforgettable DP (MME), Madeline DP (Prima)
Paper Size: 5.5 SQ
Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Ballet Blue, Not Quite Navy (I know - I need current colors ha!), Encore Gold
Accessories: Zva Creative pearls, Prima flowers, rhinetsones, distressing tool, fringe trim (Stamp Simply), Gold Detail EP (Sparkle 'n Sprinkle)
Techniques: watercolor, distressing, heat embossing

  1. Such a pretty card. So feminine yet in the blues. Love the tasseled lace Judy and the pretty flowers.
